Anti Vedic Socialism versus Vedic Liberalism

Dear Sovereign Citizens of India. Please think seriously  and decide what kind of India we want? Can Socialism provide India of our dreams as Sone Ki Chidiya agenda based on Vedic Metaphysics.

Our Socialist Leaders were/are Pt Nehru, all Communists, Marxists, Indira Gandhi, Rajeev Gandhi, Atul Bihari Vajpai, L.K Advani, Sonia Gandhi and now Kejriwal of AAP and many others

Our Leaders who believed in Liberalism were Gokhale, Tilak,.Mahatma Gandhi, Tagore, Sardar Patel, JP, Minoo Masani and now Swarna Bharat Party, Lok Satta party, Nav Bharat party and many Liberals. Narendra Modi has some Liberal ideas.

From 1950 till today we are having dominance of Socialists. Now we need to decide should Socialism continue or we vote for only Liberals with firm belief in Liberty, Freedom, Swaraj, Development and Secularism..

In Liberalism Democracy is Govt. of the people (elected by the people), for the People (for the welfare of people) and by the People (strong and effective Local governments run by people). In Socialism People are not allowed to run the government at local level. India continues to have a fake Democracy for the last seven decades. In Liberalism, the people decide what they can do themselves in Local self Governments, what they can not do they delegate to State Governments and what State can not do is transferred to Central Govt. In SOCIALISM it is just the opposite, people are not allowed strong and effective Local Governments. Thus briefly Socialism Vs. liberalism is as below

  1. fake Democracy Vs. genuine Democracy
  2. Centralization Vs. Decentralization
  3. Garbage Khichdi  Politics Vs. Neat welfare Politics as the Noblest Emdeavour
  4. Corrupt governance Vs. Corruption Free Governance
  5. Distribution of Wealth in Leaking Subsidies (Re One becomes 15 paise to beneficiary)Vs.Production of Wealth for Development and removal of Poverty
  6. High rate of inflation and weak Currency Vs. Low rate of Inflation and very strong Currency
  7. Colonial Model Bureaucracy Vs. Accountable Welfare Bureaucracy
  8. Ineffective Local Governments Vs. Strong and Effective Local Governments

Before 1947 the leaders of Congress Party like Gandhi ji, Tilak, Gokhale, Sardar Patel and others aimed at Self rule (Swaraj), minimum government, Liberty, free speech and Freedom. Pt Nehru whose real Political Hero was Iron man Joseph STALIN of USSR and model state was USSR and model governance was  Soviet  system of Centralization and Central Planning Commission.

When he became Prime Minister, he over ruled all surviving Congress leaders and took U turn. Steadily all Liberals and believers in Gandhian philosophy, Freedom and Swaraj started leaving Congress. His Socialistic centralization went to the extent that governance of the country became centralized in the Nehru’s family. Those who did not like Dynastic rudderless confused and highly corrupt Socialistic rule, started creating personal zonal Fiefdoms not knowing the principles of good governance. Lately Aam Admi Party with firm belief  in anarchy, populism, leaking subsidies, political dramas and no agenda of good governance has also entered in our rudderless Socialism.

In the last six decades the sovereign citizens have forgotten, sovereignty resides with them. They still believe in feudalistic Mai Baap culture and have allowed political and bureaucratic servants to become masters. India is now having dynastic rudderless rule of servants.

We now need leaders of pre 1947 caliber like Gandhi ji, Lokmanya Tilak, Gokhale, Vallab Bahi Patel, Tagore and Minoo Masani, JP, Raja ji, and many believers in Arthashatra of Kautilya and Vedic system of governance etc who firmly believed in Swaraj, Liberty, Freedom, accountability, transparency and good governance.

Let us say goodbye to Indian brand of dynastic, populist , anarchic and corrupt Socialism and bring in a new era of Liberalism, good governance and real Freedom.

Prem Sabhlok

FURTHER

Vedic spiritual science is entirely for the welfare of mankind. Vedas tell us that it is the individuals alone can bring heavenly conditions on the earth under divine guidance and if they do not need divine guidance they can create hellish conditions in state and society.

Divine guidance for good governance starts with SABHA and VIDHTA. (RV10-8-26 to42, 47) AV 14-1-20,22, AV 14-2-64,67)

In Sabha and Vidhta all individuals (both men and women of all four Varna and also fifth Avarna) should actively participate. Thus in Liberalism good governance starts at the ground level and moves up to Local

Self Government, State Govt, Central Govt etc. After discussion in Sabha and Vidhta, the decisions arrived at should be conveyed to elected representatives in local, state, central governments and bureaucrats for bringing more transparency in administartion. (RV 10-88-46). those who who come out with glory in Sabha and Vidhta should be encouraged to contest elections and get elected for various posts in Local. State and central government.

All discussions in Vidhta are aimed at to make the individuals moral and ethical human beings by bringing out their latent divinity and higher social instincts,  AV 1-15-2,4 guide us that we are all co-workers for prosperity and make riches flow amongst people on the path of Dharma, Artha and Rta One has to study all mantras relating to  bureaucracy, elected President/King, Artha, International Trade, Vedic Physical Sciences, Vedic Ethics, Vedic value system and then find which is better form of good governance.  Clearly Vedas do not encourage Indian Brand of Socialism, fake democracy and non accountable bureaucracy.

Vedic enlightened Liberalism cautions us that great diversity of wealth is always inconsistent with good governance and cause of social and civic unrest.  Our rudderless Socialism has created all negative indices in Corruption, worst bureaucracy of the world, mafia politics against Vedic politics as the noblest Endeavour, inflation touching the sky, bright students running out of India for higher studies, moral, social, physical and even religious pollution endangering lives of simple. honest people and hundreds of more negative indices.

I have never understood why People of India love our rudderless anti Vedic Socialism against Liberalism starting with strong and effective Local Governments. By ignoring Vedic metaphysics we are losing the benefit of Divine Guidance which seemss to have been withdrawn.

Regards

Prem Sabhlok

P.S

Incidentally Sone KI Chidiya agenda largely conforms to Vedic metaphysics.

Who am I ? I am not a Body, I have a Body? Vedic concept of Self Realisation

“Soul (Atman) is the real guide in life of a person. It is the inner self of man and knows the truth and the untruth. Because of one’s selfishness, stubbornness, malevolence and ignorance, man rejects the truth and inclines toward Untruth”.  (Swami Dayanand Saraswati in Satyarath Prakash)

Who am I? I am not a body- I have a body Vedic concept of Self -Realisation

OMkar Veda Nirmayi– God revealed Vedas (Guru Nanak Dev ji)
Vedas are the most precious Gift for which West had ever been indebted to East – Francois. M. Voltaire
It is high time Vedic teachings, guidelines and thoughts reach each and every House/Home of the Seekers of Vedic Knowledge to save mankind from self destruction.
Dear Seekers of Vedic Knowledge,

Subject: Atma (Soul), Jivatma (manifested Soul) and Jiva (Spirit) as described in Vedas
Atharva Veda tells us when Soul (Atma) was provided to human being Vedic knowledge (Brahmajanan) was revealed.  Thus human soul contains all the knowledge of VEDAS.
Rig Veda says that PURPOSE of Human Birth as already known to human soul is to assist the Grand Designer (Vishwa Karma) in the maintenance of His Grand wondrous Design. Rig Veda further enlightens us when soul administer the gross body a person moves toward self realization and he/she starts following cosmic laws of necessity (Vedic Rta) relating to iddm nan mam (nothing for self all for society), path of moderation, humility, love for the entire animate and inanimate life/things and many other such cosmic laws. Conditioned by our sensate values and material knowledge of inert matter, we only see the superficial side of our identity i.e. the Ego self encased in a sheath (kosha). Brihadaranyaka Upanishad.

However, Vedas categorically say “Atma” cannot be cognized by any of the senses and say sense organs.” However, if you do not separate ecology, science of good governance, science of Axiology with three kind of values (trivarga) and enlightenment  and also do not resist the flow of life with our inner wakening, one can communicate with the soul being Vachispatiah.

It is the Soul which makes a person separate and distinct individual. The Spirit is the cause of his/her social being and along with mahabhuta– five main elements and three gunasof purity, activity and stupor, is the cause of good or bad actions of the individuals. The right and virtuous path is only known to the manifested soul (jivatma), which is nearest on self-realization and farthest when phenomenal and the material worlds become the closest (A.V. X-8-8).

The individuals who know and understand the Spirit as the powerhouse of creativity in them create subtle waves of nobility, love, and harmony even if they sit silently in any gathering or assembly. Chhandogya Upanishad describes Spirit as the Creative force, which hides behind all animate and inmate life/things, moves us, moves the planets and moves the universe.

Yajur Veda 34-43 refers to human beings as  tri-ani pada i.e. having three bodies in one- divine (causal body where soul resides near the heart), spiritual (subtle body energized by spirit residing in shuniya (cosmic void ) and gross body where senses and sense organs reside).

The soul makes a person divine animal, spirit makes a person social animal and senses and sense organs make a person material and economic man.
Hence in the Vedas a man is divine, social and material animal. Many hymns in Rig-Veda 1-70-2, 1-65-1 and others mention that God lives in our souls as a true preceptor (Guru). The term Guru in Vedas is from Gu-darkness and Ru- to dispel. Thus Guru is dispeller of both inner and outer darkness.

The souls of human beings remain immortal. Based on accumulation of past and present karma – thoughts, deeds and actions, it becomes fierce, calm, terrible, fearless, ignorant and enlightened, trembling and steadfast, forbearing and nonbearing, passionate and ascetic and a prey to bewilderment (Y.V. 39-7). Thus the quality of manifested soul is different for each individual. The purity of the manifested soul and keeping it free from the effect of bad, corrupt and evil deeds, thoughts and desires make it as our philosopher, guide and friend.

The soul has been addressed by various names and epithets in the Vedas. Samrat (the ruler of the body), Vaishva Deva, Teja, Vak, Agneye, Prajapati in chapter 39 of Yajur Veda. Each name or epithet indicates its attributes, like the controlling lord, the nourisher of human beings, the just ruler etc., It is also called Twashta – subtle soul. In Bhagavad-Gita apart from atma, jivatma, words like sah (self), dehindehasharirinshariri are used (B.G.3-42, 14-11 and 12, 2-18). All these later epithets generally mean lord of the body.

The Spirit which is the life force has also its intermediaries, mind, will, intellect and ego, which are much higher and powerful than the body self i.e. gross body consisting of senses, sense organs etc. However, the Spirit becomes more or less effective in the gross body, not so much with age but kind of activities towards perfection or otherwise. With evil activities, thoughts and desires the gross body can start degenerating even at young age and the spirit gets weaker. Many of the physical sicknesses are related to your activities and thoughts and get further aggravated with idleness that Bhagavad-Gita describes as sin. Since God is perfect, the spirit always aims at perfection and in this movement towards perfection; it helps the gross body to remain healthy.

R.V 6-47-9 mentions soul as twashta– the subtle soul shines when senses are under control and sattavic guna of purity and truthfulness is predominant. According to Atharva Veda XI-8-30, the manifested soul (jiva atma) in the body administers it. The gross body of human beings is the soul holding body. Those individuals, who do not allow the soul to administer the body, normally are devoted to the letters of the scriptures and not the spirit behind their teachings. They camouflage their materialistic outlook in the form of fake spiritualism. According to Bhagavad-Gita, such persons cannot attain Vivek (determinate intellect B.G.2-42 to 44). However, where the body is administered by the manifested soul, even the human beings become Brahma and can say “Aham Brhaman Asi”- I am Brahman. This stage of perfect control of the body by manifested soul is described as "Chhavo" or "Shava". According to Atharva Veda XI-8-34, at this stage the soul in the human body becomes the highest force and vigour. As Vachisptiah you can even communicate with it.

For more details on the subject along with the relevant Vedic hymn/mantra/rik about soul (atma), manifested soul (jivatma) and spirit (jiva) kindly see chapter 7 of Glimpses of Vedic Metaphysics on Website http://www,sabhlokcity.com/metaphysics/

The book is also available through search engines of <google.com> <Yahoo.com> and <lulu.com>.

Kindly render divine and noble social service and forward this e-mail to other seekers of Vedic knowledge and get the blessings of rsis and munnies of yore who found the Vedic permanent truths for the benefit of mankind of all ages..

With regards,
P. K. Sabhlok

P.S
According to Vedas The manifested soul dwells in the fifth Kosha (sheath) near the heart

Vedic metaphysics explains that owing to continuous decline amongst the human beings in the knowledge of soul and spirit from Krita Yuga towards Kali Yuga, there is a corresponding decline of moral and social values. People start following less and less of the cosmic laws of social and moral order.

Rig Veda 1-164-20, 10-9-20, 10-8-43 and 44 describe three divine substances, Parmatma (Supreme Soul), Atma (human soul) and the divine Nature. On the Death of human beings, spirit goes back to Prakrti and merges with the Nature as part of the vast storehouse of energy. The soul does not go back to Parmatma who is the Supreme Soul as it gets affected with subtle atoms and particles of human good and bad deeds, thoughts and desires. Atharva Veda 19-32-1 says, "In the beginning first desire is created by the spirit and it becomes the primordial seed of manas (mind)." Atharva Veda thus considers mind as part of spirit or energy principle. It further says that this spirit dwells in grass, wood, earth, water and all elements.

It is the material knowledge, which separates us from the God and makes us feel that we are independent of God and live in a material world, which is controlled by Nature. As and when the material knowledge becomes intense, individuals start feeling that they can even control the Nature and create their own laws and tend to overlook RTA – the laws of God made available to us through the working of Prakrti and its gross form the universe. According to Sankracharya, when Vidya or divine knowledge is acquired, the entire cosmic illusion goes away and self becomes part of Brahma." Aham Brahma Asi" – I am Brahma. The concept of energy principle in the human body remains so long as the individuals consider both the gross body and the Nature as real. It is for this reason that many materialists of the past and present have doubts about the existence of God and the soul. The greatest miracle of the world is that billions of people in the past and present had been in search of God and searched Him at far distance places, idols, icons material temples of marbles when He lives within us.

The main causes of corruption in India

The main causes of corruption in India are:

1. Continuation of confused Nehruvian Socialism for the last a few decades and hypocrisy of current Liberalism when large scale leaking subsidies still continue.

2. Weak and ineffective Local governments inspite of Amendments 73 and 74 to Constitution of India

3. Fixed and purchased vote bank with manipulated Voters lists.

4. Rusted and fargile steel frame of outdated colonial model of IAS Bureaucracy.

5. Our fundamental rules in governance, Police, Co-operative and other welfare Societies etc are still based on 1860 Act as amended but not implemented.

6. Our private schools/colleges obtain signatures for higher UGC scale salary but pay nearly 50% of the amount. Thus Corrupt teachers/Professors/ management etc are running the schools/colleges.

7. In I.A.S officers Training Academy (LBSNAA) corruption is prevailing and brought to the notice of Cabinet Scy, Prime Minister etc. They are all closing their eyes to save their IAS colleague in LBSNAA.

8. The subsidised domestic LPG  cylinders are sold to commercial organisation/hotels etc at much higher rate in the presence of law enforcing agencies, no one stops this for their corrupt material gain. All the Deputy Commissioners of major districts know about it but are helpless.

9. First the government recovers TDS at much higher percentage and when question of Refund comes, for years Refund is not given unless some fixed% is given to Income Tax officials. If you complain there is more harassment in future to make you run from pillar to post.

10. Our spiritual gururs openly accept donation of Black money. Neither the donor want receipt nor Gurus are keen to give receipts.
…. there is endless list for corrupt practices. i do not know what LOKPAL/LOKAYUKT will do in such cases.

Solution is bury Nehruvian Socialism, say good bye to colonial model of IAS Bureacracy, No subsidies, compensation through welfare means and not subsidies, make local governments strong, effective and vibrant.

CEC of India should be reprimanded if manipulation of Voters lists are found etc. Deputy Commissioner incharge should be sacked for accpeting manipulation under political pressure.

Are the Two Great Epics Ramayana and Mahabharta Vedas Re-told?

Dear Seekers of Vedic Knowledge,

Are the two great mythological epics Ramayana and Mahabharata Vedas Retold? A few references are given below. Can any learned Vedic scholar throw any light on this aspect?

Rig Veda 1-97-8 and Y.V. 199 have a prayer to Manyu deva of "wrath" and also other devas (Beings of Light) like Indra who are prone to anger against the sinners. It says, "Give us power not to become insensitive and silent spectator to social and moral evils and bestow us necessary wrath to fight these evils. Are the two noble characters of Lakshmana in Ramayana and Bhim Sen (Bhima) in Mahabharta are based on these hymns in Rig-Veda. The super structure of the epics is built to a large extent on these two noble and divine characters.

2. Sama Veda in a number of hymns/riks, refer to nine kind of hydra headed corruption/evil and the same enters the human body through 99 sources. These two hymns have the corresponding mythological fable about demon king Ravana having nine corrupt heads and one virtuous head. By cutting one head, the second head would crop up and so on. Since he was also a learned person, his tenth head is depicted as virtuous. From his tenth head before his death, Ravana imparted the right knowledge (Brahmajnan) to Lakshmana.

As regards 99 sources/obstacles, Mahabharata has 100 young sons of blind king Dhritrashtra and not so old queen Gandhari. Out of these 99 sons were corrupt, evil minded with firm belief in deception, gambling and other kinds of negativities. Only his 100th virtuous son Vikarna protested against outrage on extremely divine noble lady Draupadi.

Rig-Veda X-34-13 prohibits game of dice and all kinds of gambling based on chance. In Mahabharata, the real climax starts after the deceitful game of dice between Kaurvas and Pandvas. The origin of Great War of Kurukshetra can be traced to this game of dice.

Further Rig-Veda 2-2-12 says that corrupt people face gloom through their children. Blind king Dhritrashtra was the unlawful occupant of the throne and played all gimmicks along with his 99 corrupt sons to avoid giving any land, power etc. to rightful owners Pandavas. The eldest brother of Pandavas was the lawful occupant to the throne. Rig Veda also says more children are source of trouble for parents. Both the parents of Daryodhna and his maternal uncle Sakuni in Mahabharata had 100 sons each. Their parents suffered both mentally and spiritually throughout their lives. Thus Vedic message of small families was conveyed through these epics.

Yajur Veda and Isa Upanishad leave no doubt that any meditation during the stage of ignorance/nescience takes a person from darkness to utter darkness. In both the epics, there are many characters like Ravana, Duryodhan, Kansa and others. They tried to obtain extra spiritual power through meditation but got into utter darkness and lost the discerning power (Vivek) to distinguish between right and wrong. Those who meditated while on the path of right knowledge like Rama, Krishna , Arjuna and many others not only got the divine light for themselves but also for the benefit of mankind.

Chatvar Varna Ashram (four divine professions) in Vedas is not based on birth. It is based on merit, capacity and aptitude and allotted through Vedic education. (Chapter on Vedic Ideal Society in “Glimpses of Vedic Metaphysics” gives complete details about these divine professions). In the mosaic egalitarian society they are equal and can eat together. The great metaphysicists (maharsis) Valmiki, Vyasa and Viswamitra and many others were not born to Brahmins parents. They all became Brahmins through their merits and capacity. Even lord Rama- Kshatriyas varna , ate berries already tasted by a noble lady Bhilni/Shabri of shudra varnaIncidentally Rig-Veda describes the followers of divine profession of shudra varna as handsome, unskilled and selfless worker.

In the Vedas “Guru” is the dispeller of inner and outer darkness. Gu is darkness and Ru is to dispel. No Guru can achieve this objective unless he has attained the right knowledge of all social and physical sciences, spiritual and divine knowledge of spirit and imperishable. Guru, who praises or justifies or lives on the filthy lucre of his/her devotees and followers, is also a wicked person.

While Ramayana depicts Maharsi Vashishta preceptor (Guru) of lord Rama as brahmajnanai– having perfect harmonized material, spiritual and divine knowledge, Mahabharata depicts guru Dronacharya as brhamajnani but supporter of evildoers like Kaurvas. His behaviour towards his old friend Draupad and silence in the deceptive game of dice as well as shameful action of Kaurvas towards their noble sister-in-law Draupadi has also been depicted in bad light. Vedas say such gurus even though having perfect knowledge encourage unrighteousness should be destroyed. In Mahabharata guru Dronacharya and his son are killed in the Great War of Kurkshetra.

The Vedic Science is depicted in both the epics. A few hundreds hymns are there in Vedas to explain in great details physical, military and medical sciences. Ribhus (industrialists) in consultation with ashvinaus (scientists) should build rathas – vehicles moving on land, water and firmament for the benefit of mankind and also for global trade. Aircraft with high speed (vajgatuvimana) capable of going around the entire globe in 6 hours is mentioned in Rig Veda. Maharsi Valmiki in Ramayana included this Vedic concept in the Pushpak air craft which brought lord Rama and others from Lanka to Ayodhya. The various kinds of missiles/bomblets used during war in both the epics are mentioned in Vedas.

The above are only a few illustrations which give the impression that both the great epics are Vedas Retold. If so, those who can not read Vedas in original can learn Vedic teachings and guidelines from these two epics.

Formless and Ineffable Nirguna Brahma as Described in Vedas

“The Vedas still represent eternal Truths in the Purest Form ever written”

Paul William Roberts – Oxford University Professor

VEDAS are meant to organize the society harmoniously of the followers of Sanatan Dharma and strictly prohibits individual gains in the pursuit of Dharma.

RV 1-97-8 has a Prayer to Manyu deva and Agni deva on WRATH “give us power not to become insensitive and silent spectators to social and moral evils and bestow us necessary wrath to fight against these evils”.

“O, God give me wrath against social criminals and non divine people (avarnas) and wake me up from the deep slumber of insensitivity.” Rig Veda

OM Khamm Brahma” OM Thy name is God who is “Ek OM kar”- the only One God, Wise men describe Thee by many different names, including Vishwakarma– the Great  Architect of the Universe..

Being Thy children let us all become Thy divine bureaucracy and help Thy Grand wondrous Design by becoming Paramjot– Carriers of divine and noble knowledge contained in Vedas

Dear Spiritual Brothers and Sisters,

Subject: Brief Description of the Supreme Reality in Vedas.

A number of hymns in the Vedas describe God in details. A few hymns can be mentioned for proper understanding of Nirguna Brahma who is the Universal God. Rig Veda 6-15-13 and 14 mentions that He is a pure illuminator, unifier and remover of all miseries, commands all to observe non-violence and other rules of righteousness, which are a-priori principles beyond any sense experience.

Rig-Veda 6-47-18 says that for each form, He is the Model. It is His Forms that are to be seen everywhere, in spiritual and material things. He exists in all animate and inanimate life/things but He is manifest in the human beings where He dwells in their hearts (Sama Veda 860). A similar description that He dwells in the human hearts is also there in Bhagavad-Gita, Srimad Bahgavatam and many other scriptures.

Rig Veda 1-9-5 , 6 mentions, “He is the Lord of knowledge, infinite wisdom and material wealth”. He pervades the matter and the whole space (A.V.19-20-2). All the four Vedasdescribe that Thee and Thy laws (Rta) are the same. Those who follow His laws and commandments can realize Him in one birth. He is unborn (ajo) and incarnation of God as a human being is not visualized (Y.V.34-53, 40-8 and A.V. 10-23-4 ). He lives within you and you live within Him as one of His tiny living cells. .

The Vedic metaphysics contained in Upanishads tell us that He has no demand for material offerings, donations, blind, proxy and ostentatious worship but wants all the human beings to follow His laws (Rta) of social, moral and physical order and assist him in the maintenance of His Grand wondrous Design. Vedas tell us that all evils, corruption, bribery, naked selfishness and material desires are more rampant with people who do not follow His laws (Rta). Majority of such persons even create pollution of all kinds, environmental hazards, social and economic tensions in society and thus knowingly or unwittingly go against His laws and tend to create social, moral and physical disorder.

Vedas advise open discussions on religion, ethics, morality, divinity, soul, spirit and Prakrti in an assembly where all individuals are advised to participate. This august body in the Vedas is described as Vidhta. Being ineffable, He does not want the human beings to praise Him all the time about His attributes. As Sankracharya said, “even the words recoil to describe Him”. Categories, quantity, quality, colour and words cannot explain Him. Thus Vedas give great importance that we should know and understand Brahman.

He is an impersonal God, impartial and Unmoved Mover but moves the universe in a wondrous design. There are a number of hymns relating to Rta-laws of God, which Brahman observes and follows Himself sternly. He never breaks them and this result in equilibrium in the entire universe. There is a mention that even animals, birds, plants as well as all inanimate things follow these laws. The more you understand and love Him, the more you go away from ostentatious, blind and proxy worship of gods. The inert matter starts disappearing and you start realising that all human beings are spiritual brothers and sisters. Vedic God has only blessings and mercy for all His creation and no curse for His creatures. If an individual is leading a miserable life of stress, it is his/her own creation as the individuals are their own greatest friends and their own enemies.

This brief description is from Chapter 8 of “Glimpses of Vedic Metaphysics” available on Internet for on-line reading and even taking print at no-cost. The book is accessible through google.com or Yahoo.com or lulu.com as well as Websitehttp://www.sabhlokcity.com/metaphysics/.  Please visit my bloghttps://prem.sabhlokcity.com  for open discussion regarding Vedic metaphysics, Swaraj (self rule) and other subjects.

To strengthen Vedic Sanatan Dharma (eternal religion) kindly render divine social service and forward this e-mail to the seekers of Vedic knowledge.

With kind regards,

Yours Spiritual Brother

Prem .Sabhlok

P.S

Dear seekers of Vedic Knowledge,

Revival of Vedas will strengthen Hinduism. It will facilitate Hindus to explain Sanatan Dharma logically without bringing in mythology and also scientifically to our young children who are getting influenced by Western materialistic thoughts. I have seen during my past over 35 years of experience as a college lecturer and later as a senior government official that many Hindu children while filling application form/giving their bio-data write “Religion” as Atheism/Humanism.

If Hindu children write so in India , I am sure similar problem exists with Hindu children abroad.

Earlier we revive Vedas we strengthen Hindu religion/Dharma and avoid Hinduism (Sanatan Dharma- the eternal religion) from further shrinkage when two fast long distance runners i.e. Islam and Christianity are competing with each other to convert followers of other religions simply with the sole political aim of seeking world domination against the teachings of their own scriptures.

Vedas were revealed for guidelines during the DarK Age- Kaliyuga. Relevance of Vedas to the Present Age of Materialism

Let us jointly reduce the vehement effect of Dark Age (Kali Yuga) by reviving Vedas.

Vedic metaphysics can save the mankind from all kinds of social, economic and other depressions. Strengthen Sanatan Dharma (the eternal religion) through revival of Vedas.

The followers of Vedic metaphysics can become paramjot– the carriers of Vedic divine light (knowledge)

Dear Spiritual Brothers and Sisters,

Subject: Vedas and their relevance to the present age.

Owing to utility of Vedic metaphysics to the mankind, UNECO has accorded Heritage status to Vedas. These scriptures of yore explain comprehensively many divine, spiritual and material subjects and guidelines given there in can help in Universal Brotherhood (Viswa Bandhutva) and development of scientific temper.

Adi Grantha says, “Asankh grantha mukhi Ved path”- there are innumerable scriptures but study of Vedas is supreme. It also says, “OMKAR Ved Nirmayi”- Vedas were revealed by God- hence Vedas are Shruti.

Atharva Veda makes it clear when soul was provided to human beings, Vedic knowledge was revealed as human soul contains all the Vedic knowledge. Vedic metaphysicists (Rsis) and wise wandering sages (Munnies) through meditation communicated with their souls which are vachispatiah (i.e. human soul- Atma has a sound and can communicate with us) and acquired Vedic knowledge. Rig Veda tells us that soul was provided to human beings so that the purpose of human birthcould be known to human beings.

Rig Veda further mentions the purpose of human birth is to assist the Vishwakarma (Supreme Reality/Architect) to assist Him in the maintenance of His Grand wondrous Design by following Rta- Cosmic laws of social, moral and physical order. Having created these laws (Rta) even God follows them sternly lest great harm is done to His Creation.

Some of these Rta are “as you sow so shall you reap”, follow path of moderation, “Iddm nan mam”– nothing for self all for society (enlightened liberalism) and many others.

When human beings followed Vedic teachings and guidelines Vedic Sanatan Dharma (eternal religion) was spread beyond Caucasus, Prasava (Persia), Ariana (Iran), Indian sub continent, South Esat Asia JAVA, Samatra, Tashik Khand (Tashkand) etc.

Many Greeks, Parthians, Kushans and many others merged with this divine Dharma without any kind of conversion. Rig Veda mentions “Rtam, Satyam, Dharmmam” as Vedic Dharma. Rta-Cosmic Laws of social, moral and physical order are eternal truths (Satyam) and following these Laws (Rta) is Vedic Dharma.

Under the vehement effect of dreaded materialism of Charvakaas the followers of Sanatan Dharma started deviating from Vedic Metaphysics (Upanishadic part of Vedas), Buddhism overtook Sanatan Dharma and history tells us that Adi Sankracharya revived Vedas and Buddhism virtually vanished from India . The message of later Rsis/Swamis/Maharisis is very clear “Revive Veda and save the mankind from self destruction”.

Vedas for modern age
Our social interaction is limited to friends, relations etc but not to community so our houses are spotlessly clean and surroundings dirty as community welfare is never our Motto- Vedas take us to community welfare and “WE” Feeling.

2. In social service the concept of Success is difficult to define- so it is better to be a man of value than of success.

3. Research in social sciences and medical sciences has found that helping others not for recognition is good for heart. It is great way to exercise your heart and soul.

4. Vedas specifically guide us to TEACH (transparency, ethics, accountability, community and humanity welfare) principle. Most of the modern systems have failed in this regard.

5. Unless self rule at the grass root level is there in Democracy, the rulers tend to become autocratic, corrupt, hypocrite and tyrannical (Plato). There is no visible movement for swaraj- self rule in India.

Ishta theory of Vedas describes paths could be different so long as these paths aim at the welfare of mankind and other animate and inanimate life. Vedas do not consider matter as inert and explain in a large number of hymns that matter has unsuspected vitality. All religions should aim at unity in diversity i.e. (should lead to universal brotherhood-viswa bandhutva), global family of the same One God (vasudhaivan kutumbkam), global trade and global market for the material and spiritual welfare of mankind. God being formless, ineffable and self-created, avoid explaining God through categories, substance, activity, quality and relationship. HE is beyond cognition, perception of human senses, logic of mind and intellect. Words recoil to explain the Supreme Reality. Only true and harmonised material, spiritual and divine knowledge (para jnan) can unite all religions to compete with each other for the welfare of mankind.

For the theists with material and intellectual knowledge, multiplicity of gods is seen in the form of idols, icons and incarnation of God as a human being. Some such individuals even find God/god as partly a man and partly a woman (Ardhanari Iswaran). Any individual who starts moving towards para jnan (higher knowledge), all arguments start and end at One formless and ineffable God who is Sat, Chit, Anand – the only reality, supreme consciousness, and bliss.

What is admirable in the Vedas is that their powerful and comprehensive philosophy was created for all ages and for the entire mankind. This philosophy was made available at a time when most parts of the world had hallucinations of ghosts getting out of dead bodies, when shadow was interpreted as the soul, spirit, ghosts, and the soul was considered to be getting out of the body at night during dreams. It was the period when the concept of inner and outer world was highly confused. Out of fear complex the ancient man worshipped snakes, animals, plants, and clouds by creating millions of gods with form. When in most parts of the world the religion of animism was wide spread, the Vedic metaphysics was getting developed in the areas which now lie in the states of Iran, Iraq, Afghanistan, Georgia, Pakistan and some Northern parts of India. Arya Vrata was the land spreading up to Parshavas ( Persia ), Ariana (later Iran ) and this land was not a fairy tale country, since the Vedas nowhere describe mythology as part of metaphysics.

The Dark Age or Kali yuga has the predominance of avarnas and vritras. In this Age owing to spread of only material and intellectual knowledge bereft of divine and spiritual knowledge, the predominant features are superstitions, unscientific outlook, blind faith, hypocrisy, naked selfishness and wide spread corruption. Fake gurus and god-men who get hallucination that they are the incarnation of various gods on this earth, multiply. Thus Vedic metaphysics meant for the guidance of human beings of this Dark Age is largely ignored. However, the study of Vedas would reveal that Vedic gurus (Gu– darkness and Ru– to dispel) are the dispellers of both inner and outer darkness. They are more like Socrates, Mencius, St Augustine, Immanuel Kant, Sankrachrya, Guru Nanak and swami Daya Nanda and do not bear any resemblance to the modern godmen, gurus, babas, tantriks and swamis.

The scientific belief in One ineffable, formless and nameless God who has been given some name by learned persons, help in creating peace every where- peace in the sky, peace in the atmosphere, peace on the earth, peace in plants, animals, human beings and water (Yajur Veda 36-17). Let the peace itself be peaceful. This is the most famous peace prayer to God as Shanti Path in the Vedas.

12. PRAYERS- There is an other hymn in Atharva Veda that we are all co-workers for prosperity and make riches flow amongst the people on the path of Dharma and Rta (A.V 1-15-2, 4).

13. There is also a common prayer in Rig-Veda for the welfare of all human beings. We should create concord amongst the human beings, love each other as the cow loves the calf born to her, we all speak gently and in a friendly manner, let our water store be common and common also our share of food. Morning and evening let there be loving heart in all of us (R.V 10-191-2 to 4), (A.V 3-30-1 to 7).

Yajur Veda 36-18 has a prayer to God, "Let all beings look on me with friendly eyes. May I look on all beings with friendly eyes- may we look each other with friendly eyes". Thus a large number of hymns refer to "We feeling" without specifically mentioning the word Society.

Soul, manifested Soul and Spirit as described in Vedas

Dear All,

If any seeker of Vedic knowledge is keen to know about any other subject/teachings/concept in Vedas, kindly feel free to ask.
with regards

Prem Sabhlok

OMkar Veda Nirmayi- God revealed Vedas (Guru Nanak Dev ji)

The Spirit is the cause of his/her social being and along with mahabhuta- five main elements and three gunas of purity, activity and stupor, is the cause of good or bad actions of the individuals.

In Bhagavad-Gita apart from atma, jivatma, words like sah (self), dehin, deha, sharirin, shariri are used (B.G.3-42, 14-11 and 12, 2-18).

R.V 6-47-9 mentions soul as twashta- the subtle soul shines when senses are under control and sattavic guna of purity and truthfulness is predominant.

The Vedic Dharma- an Adorable Unifier.

Subject: The Vedic Dharma- an Adorable Unifier.

Dear Spiritual Brothers and Sisters,

The ancient scripture for the guidance of mankind “VEDA” literally means storehouse of knowledge. The four Vedas containing over 17000 hymns/riks/mantras are omniform as they aim at one global family, universal brotherhood, sustainable global free trade, development of scientific temper,  spiritual and economic prosperity of mankind etc.  Their divine and spiritual metaphysics refers to ideal mosaic society, cosmic laws of necessity (Rta), and nine kinds of hydra  headed evil/corruption, equality of men and women, scientific temper and many other subjects.

The term Dharma in Vedas has been used to in various mantras and hymns  to denote righteousness, integrity, harmony, justice, faith in your self and selfless dedication to duty. Whenever Dharma falls from its pinnacle  to its lowest ebb, the light contained in the omniscient soul gets  dimmer and dimmer and the path to be tread becomes unlit.  Meditation in such circumstance consequent to fall of Dharma takes  a person from darkness to utter darkness(Yajur Veda Chapter 40 and  Isa Upanishad.)

Thus Vedic Dharma based on TRINITY of harmonized material, spiritual and divine knowledge is an adorable unifier which aims at making enemies into friends (Rig Veda 1-59-7). Vedic rsis (metaphysicists) and munnis (wandering sages) found human body as “tri-ani-pada”- three bodies in one viz. causal, spiritual and material bodies containing two “Purusha” –the higher real self and lower body self. The body self is greatly affected by Vedic Maya (cosmic delusion- phantasmagoria). Yajur Veda in chapter 40 and Isa Upanishad tell us that face of truth is covered with a golden lid, which creates pair of opposites. Along with Flux in Prakrti (divine Nature), it becomes cause of confusion to our body-self as we tend to justify opposite pairs like violence and non-violence, tolerance and intolerance etc; at different occasions. Thus due to Vedic Maya we expect from others what we shall not do ourselves and prefer transitory pleasure to good.

Being an adorable unifier the various religions tend to unite to it and they compete with each other for the welfare of mankind who are members of Vasudhaivam Kutumbkam (Global Family) Rig Veda 1-62-2. In this global family there is no concept of superior or inferior person but perfect and imperfect person. Those who help God in the maintenance of world order move towards perfection (Yajur Veda 35-12). Six Indian Schools of Philosophy (sad darshna) Advait/Dvait Vedantism, Mimmansa and others including Shuniya Vadins also got glued to Vedic Dharma for the welfare of mankind. Followers of Vedic Dharma become free from the clutches of organized and institutionalized religion/s, which are now fast becoming appendix to modern materialism.

Vedic Dharma tells us that only inspired knowledge comes from outside and real knowledge comes from our higher-self (Vivekanada) The Litmus Test is if any work particularly social work does not provide happiness it is selfish work. Vedic Dharma aims at avoiding spiritual science (religion) drifting towards ecclesiastical power and materialist theology where godmen, clergy and priests do not live unto their sermons. Thus the adorable unifier helps an individual to become his/her own master when the higher self shines. In its absence a person loses real freedom and becomes many time servant- servants of his ego, fame, mammon, senses, biases and prejudices and even servant of unfounded fear etc. Very often such people resort to proxy and even ostentatious worship and go on paying to priest, clergy, godman with a belief that some one is doing whole things for you (Vivekananda).

Being a-priori and based on cosmic laws of necessity (Rta) Vedic Dharma is beyond the reach or realm of human reason based on sense perception, inference and experience. Seeking happiness in others and perfection in you is Vedic Dharma. It does not advise any human being to become recluse and renounce the phenomenal world of senses and thus it avoids a person becoming a burden to society. Bhagavad Gita makes it very clear that A Sanyasi is one who does not renounce the material world but renounces mundane and worldly desires and leads and active life of moderation. Followers of Vedic Dharma get very active after the age of 75 years (Sanyas Asharm) and devote themselves to divine social work for the welfare of mankind.

Moral tone of Vedic Dharma was found during freedom struggle like need based living of Gandhi ji, non violence of the morally strong, Vedantism of Vivekananda, Upanishadic and Bhagavad Gita’s philosophy of Lokmanya Tilak and Gokhle etc. Even the British who ruled over us for about 200 years left India  as friends and not enemies and we continue to have excellent relations with them. This adorable unifier to a large extent became sheet anchor of our national awakening, unity and integrity. Even in the ancient period invaders like Greeks, Parthians, Kushans, Huns and many others including local tribes and Darvidians , following different religions, mumbo-jumbo of rituals/ceremonies and mythology got united to Vedic Dharma.

The most ancient spiritual faith Sanatan Dharma was largely based on Vedic Dharma and it became a spiritual adhesive to form a loose confederation of many sects, creed, sub religions in the form of Hindu religion. Arya samaj, Brahmo samaj, Kabir panthis, Parnamis, Ganpatias etc having different mode of worship, rituals, ceremonies etc, broadly all have one thing common viz. reciting Vedic hymns/riks/mantras on occasions like birth, marriages, death etc.    This adorable unifier continues to guide the mankind on all aspects of human life-  social, political and religious along with scientific temper.  There is only One ineffable and formless merciful God. The ancient rsis (metaphysicists) and wisemen had named God as Indra, Varun, Savitar etc (Rig Veda 1-164-46 and Atharva Veda 10-10-28). In some parts of Vedas some epithets have bee used for God like VISNU- one who spreads in Vishva (universe), BRAHMA from Brahmand (both visible and invisible universe) etc.  Chhandogya Upanishad 7-23 and 27 says God lives where one sees nothing  but One, hears nothing but One and knows nothing but the only One.

Environmental Science and Vedas

Dear Spiritual Brothers and Sisters on this divine Planet,

Subject: Environmental Science and Vedic Metaphysics

Owing to modern economics based on inert matter (economists are refusing to accept that matter has unsuspected vitality), wide spread dreaded, materialism, discursive intellectual knowledge based on sense perception and vested interest of both developed and developing nations, environmental science continues to remain in its infancy. It continues to ignore the fact that wide spread social, moral and physical pollution is affecting water, air, ether and even nations and societies. Thus our divine planet is no longer the benign Mother Earth but a quarry for material exploitation.

Owing to what we call “Progress” and “Modernity”, to day over 40 aircrafts are taking off per minute around the globe. Over a billion vehicles, engines etc are using/burning colossal amount of fossil fuel –the resulting accumulation of Green House gases is mind boggling. Burning of fossil fuel to trade goods including agricultural commodities is fast bringing the world to a tipping point. Our life style has made “Food” to travel a few thousands of miles before it reaches our tables.

Cause: The modern social, economic and political theories of dreaded Materialism based on inert matter.

We treat matter as inert even though the most ancient books of knowledge Vedas (literally means ocean of knowledge) told us that matter has unsuspected vitality.

Since the Vedas contain harmonized spiritual and material knowledge, it may be useful to know what Risis (metaphysicists) and Munnies (wandering sages) of yore told us for the welfare of mankind of all ages.

Atharva Veda tells O’ man: seek all means to know the meaning of Life, for without knowing it you will be lost, wandering from birth to birth, receiving knock after knock…. For knowing this the Supreme Soul Parmatma provided you with Soul (Atma)- an omniscient principle containing a-priori knowledge.

Rig Vedas further tells us the Purpose of Human Birth is to assist the Supreme Architect (Viswaskarma) in the maintenance of His Grand wondrous Design. Vedas therefore, advise become divine bureaucrats of God to save this divine planet from social, moral and physical pollution. Owing to evil thoughts when hydra headed corruption with nine heads (Sama Veda) enters the firmament, waters and earth, pollution spreads like wild fire. Vedas remind us through the most famous Peace Prayer in Rig Veda : Shanti Prithvi, Shanti Raapa….”

Now we do not find spirit in trees, plants, waters, firmament etc in spite of having been proved by modern scientists 24 hours invisible mini/tiny machines working in over 100 sub-atomic particles owing to energy principle Spirit (Jeev) in Shuniya (void).

The earth is upheld by stationary Sun, sunrays which revolve like deer is protected by people following Rta (Cosmic Laws of Necessity). There is a prayer O men: collect heroes who will help in the preservation of land (RV 5-75-11). Vedas told the mankind that Earth (Prithvi) moves very fast on its subtle axle which does not get rusted and gives no jerks to animate and inanimate life/things. Earth produces medicinal herbs which make bodies of human beings and animals disease less.  (RV 5-74-3)

O Men: encourage medical sciences and other physical sciences based on matter which has unsuspected vitality and develop Artha (Economics) based on Dharma. Rtam, Satyam, Dharmmam- Rtam Laws of Nature are eternal truths (Satyam) and following these Rta is Vedic Dharma (Rig Veda).

Scientists (Ashvinau) should produce ships, aircrafts, electricity etc. for the welfare of mankind from the five Mahatatva earth, water, fire, air and ether (akash), which uphold our divine planet. These consist of infinite no of atoms- both subtle and gross (anu and kanu) born out of the eternal first cause. The primordial matter is spread like the light of the Sun and goes round the earth, sky as waves and wavicles (RV 5-47-2)

Lord Krishna tells “Me” as supervisor Prakrti (divine Nature) brings forth whole creation B-G 9-10, seeds only take shape when love of Prakrti, soil, matter is provided. Ignoring Earth and Prakrti (divine Nature) is to destroy ourselves. The care of the earth is entrusted to human beings. Vedic Rta is do not waste resources of the earth, follow path of moderation and iddm nan mmam- enlightened liberalism- nothing for self all for society.

By deviating from Vedas, the world has gained nothing. Now we are lost in discursive intellectual discussions to prove “ones material arguments are superior to others.”

Revive Vedas and see the magical effect of our benign Mother Earth smiling once again.

With regards,
Prem Sabhlok
